Chef Andrea Statzu joined the Presidente InterContinental Cancun Resort in August 2006, as the Executive Chef of its Italian restaurant, Alfredo di Roma.

The AAA Four Diamond Award winning Presidente InterContinental Cancun Resort boasts of a magnificent view of the Carribean Sea and a spectacular private beach—one of the largest and most beautiful in Mexico—that was featured as one of the “World’s Best Beaches” by the Discovery Channel.

The resort’s other gems include five Jacuzzis, beach and pool areas featuring all new furniture and new palapas, and a unique palapa, which enables the offering of beachside massages.

The resort currently offers three dining options and two bars: the renowned Italian eatery, Alfredo di Roma; the “open air” El Caribeño restaurant; the Caña Brava bar; and a newly-built oceanfront deck bar, which offer nightly live music and entertainment.
